It opens up a can of worms! Staff should not be tipped to do a good job, it should be in their nature. That is why you hired them. I get annoyed when the tip jar is so right under your nose you just want to take it and say " Ha Ha, No tip for you!!" In some cases in hign volume stores with a great staff employees making minimum wage ($8.00), and tips deffinately make more than Shift supervisors and sometimes the assistants and managers if you break down everything to hourly.
