DDIFO Names Jim Coen Acting President

The largest independent Dunkin' Donuts franchisee association has named Jim Coen as its new acting president and chief operating officer. Coen will remain on the DD Independent Franchise Owners board of directors and will take over from Mark Dubinsky, who tendered his resignation after two years as DDIFO president.

Patrick Kaufmann Appointed to DDIFO Board of Directors

The DD Independent Franchise Owners Group, the largest association of Dunkin' Donuts franchise owners, has appointed Patrick Kaufmann, a marketing professor of Boston University, to its board of directors.

Dunkin’ Donuts Plans 100 Franchise Locations in Minneapolis

The Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Brands Inc., a well-known purveyor of coffee and donuts, is negotiating with developers who would build and operate about 100 franchise locations in Minneapolis, Minn. “Minneapolis is a tremendous opportunity.
