Dunkin’ Donuts hands out free Charlie Cards

Dunkin’ Donuts and Peter Ostrum, who played Charlie in the classic ‘Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,’ gave away 10,000 free rides on the MBTA on Friday morning.
One lucky commuter at South Station received the ‘golden ticket’ for one year’s worth of free T rides and free coffee.
Dunkin’ Donuts wanted to give away the free tickets to help out during these tough economic times.
Unfortunately, Oompa-Loompas were not eligible for the prize.
